In February of 2007, my dear brother and friend Mr. Tony Fele (The local Chairperson of The United Nimba Citizens Council Organization based in the State of North Carolina had asked us to design a proposed Welcome to Nimba County Center to be built at the borders of Nimba, Bong and Grand Gedeh Counties. Below, please find final design descriptions. The floor plan arrangement is not shown on this site because of copy rights issues. Please review elevations and we would welcome any comments.

WELCOME TO NIMBA COUNTY CENTER (PROPOSED)

The Proposed Welcome To Nimba County Center

The Nimba County Welcome Center is nestled at the beautiful landscaped gateway into the picturesque county of Nimba.

This center provides for travelers going to and from Nimba a place of rest and relaxation while on their journey.

The center features a centered front porch with round column supports and arched windows that provide a touch of class and elegance.

The open foyer displays a classic marble floor that leads its visitors into a choice of tourist attractions.

The Gallery Display Room features informative, unique qualities of Nimba County as well as other tourist attraction and historic sites of the county.

The adjoining Civil War Museum is a memorial to Nimbians and other Liberians whose life was forever changed by the Liberian Civil War.

Left of the foyer is the gift shop where travelers can purchase gifts and memorabilia of their visit to Nimba County.

A sunken sitting area is provided for peaceful relaxation for the weary traveler. A place where all can go in, stretch your legs close your eyes for a few moments.

Just off the center interior of the facility is a fully equipped (stove, sink, and refrigerator) island kitchen with generous counter space and a wrap-around refreshment center.

A waiting area is provided for those utilizing public transportation.

The facility is generously equipped with male and female indoor toilets.

A staff office is conveniently located in the building to insure this facility is presented at its best at all times.

Thank You
